Our path to CO2 neutrality

The PRETTL group wants to make an effective contribution to a world worth living in and help secure the livelihoods of future generations. To this end, it is systematically and vigorously driving forward its sustainability goals. In 2020, a voluntary commitment to climate protection was launched with the PRETTL GoZero initiative. This was conceptually developed in cooperation with BOSCH Climate Solutions. PRETTL GoZero describes the group's path to climate neutrality in the four areas of energy efficiency, renewable energies, green electricity and compensation measures.

Where do OUR climate neutrality goals come from?

At the end of 2015, 195 countries agreed at the World Climate Conference in Paris to limit average global warming to "well below" 2°C by the end of the century compared to pre-industrial times. When categorizing the CO2 footprint, the classification of emissions into three so-called scopes according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol is particularly relevant.

The 4 goals of PRETTL GoZero result from the 3 scopes of the Green House Gas Protocol.

What is SDGs?

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted as Agenda 2030 by the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September 2015. The SDGs outline a new and ambitious global agenda to reduce poverty and hunger, improve health, enable equality, protect the planet and much more. It encompasses economic, environmental and social aspects. All countries are called upon to align their actions with.
